INTRODUCTION

I was born in Evart, Osceola County, Michigan USA. I have spent many hours walking the ARDIS farms and properties there... sleeping in beds that I thought were huge and ugly... tramping through ancient homes and business places. I have been pallbearer to loved ones -- I have seen "old things" sold, auctioned, thrown out... and family papers burned as "trash".

None of this meant much to me until just a few years ago, when I set out to "find" my family, to learn more about them, and to try to save what I could of their Family History.

PURPOSE

Tom Ardis and I would like this to be a very enjoyable experience for all that tread these hallways. For those who are "family", to bring a smile... and possibly a tear -- to revel in the memories of the past... and to contemplate who we are, from where we came, and the mark we have left on this world.

Our desire is to create a place in which the STUFF STOPS HERE. We want a place where our children can go and view birth certificates, marriage licenses, death certificates, wills, letters, family medical records, ancestral charts, family pictures and up-to-date family information.
